Our Type I Tinker Cord is the Original Tinker, made in the USA.
Type I Tinker Cord has an approximate diameter of 2mm and a breaking strength of around 45kg.
It is made of 100% Nylon and consists of a single plyed yarn at the core and 16 braided strands.
Our Type I Tinker Cord is especially tear resistant and perfectly suited for crafting bracelets, braiding survival bracelets, dog collars, dog leashes, horse headcollars, lead ropes and much more.
Our Type I Tinker Cord does not rot, is quick drying, does not fade and can be washed at 30°C.
However, it should not be used for climbing or other life-support applications.
